1. Who we are

"Bonut", "we" and "us" mean the operator of the Minecraft server reachable at play.bonut.lol and the website at bonut.lol. "You" means anyone who connects to the server or uses the site.

Bonut is an independent, community-run server. It is not an official Minecraft product, and it is not approved by or associated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.

2. Accepting these terms

By connecting to the server or using the website you agree to these Terms, to the Privacy Policy and to the Refund Policy. If you do not agree with them, do not connect.

You must also comply with the Minecraft End User Licence Agreement and Mojang's commercial usage guidelines. You need a legitimate, licensed copy of Minecraft: Java Edition to play here.

3. Eligibility and age

You may use Bonut only if you can form a binding contract where you live, or if a parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf and supervises your use.

The server is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not connect and do not send us any personal information. If we learn that someone under 13 has an account with us, we will remove their data. Where local law sets a higher age of digital consent, that higher age applies instead.

If you are under 18, do not make any purchase without the permission of whoever pays the bill.

4. Your conduct

The in-game rules are part of these Terms:

1. No cheating, macros or unfair client modifications.
2. No exploiting bugs. Report them instead.
3. No advertising other servers.
4. No harassment, hate speech or doxxing.
5. No real-money trading outside the official store.
6. Alt accounts may not be used to farm rewards or launder money.

In addition, you must not:

• attack, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the server, the website, or any other player's account;
• use the server to distribute malware, or to send other players to phishing or scam sites;
• impersonate staff, or claim an association with Bonut that you do not have;
• automate account creation, or evade a ban;
• resell, rent out, or commercially exploit any part of the server without our written permission.

On scamming. In-character deception between players — bad trades, broken promises, betrayal — is permitted and is part of the design. This does not extend to anything outside the game: real-money fraud, phishing, and stealing account credentials are never allowed and are not "scamming" in the sense we permit. Staff will not reverse an in-game trade you agreed to.

5. Purchases and virtual items

Ranks, shards, currency and every other in-game item are virtual goods. They are a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use a feature of the server. They are not your property, they have no cash value, and they cannot be redeemed for money.

• Purchases support the running costs of the server. They are not an investment and carry no expectation of return.
• Ranks are cosmetic, convenience and progression-speed benefits. We do not sell items, currency balances, or an advantage in combat.
• We may change, rebalance, or retire any perk. Where a change materially removes something you paid for during a paid term, contact us and we will make it right.
• You may not sell, trade, or transfer a rank or an account for real money outside the official store.
• Prices shown on this site are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply where you live.

Your cancellation and refund rights are set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Enforcement and bans

We may warn, mute, kick, temporarily ban, or permanently ban an account that breaks these Terms — and we may do so without notice where the breach is serious or ongoing.

Automated anticheat contributes to these decisions. It can be wrong. If you believe you were punished in error, appeal through our support channel and a human will look at it.

A ban does not entitle you to a refund of purchases already made and delivered, except where refusing one would breach the law that applies to you. Deliberately charging back a delivered purchase will result in a permanent ban.

7. Availability, data and wipes

Bonut is provided on a best-effort basis by a small team. We do not promise any level of uptime, and the server may be restarted, taken down for maintenance, or become unavailable without notice.

We take backups, but we do not guarantee that any world, build, balance or item can be recovered. Loss caused by a crash, a bug, a rollback or another player is a normal risk of playing here.

We may reset or wipe the world or the economy if the server needs it. Where we plan a wipe, we will give notice in advance through the usual channels and say what carries over.

We may discontinue the server entirely. If we do, active paid subscription time that has not been used will be handled as described in the Refund Policy.

8. Content you create

You keep ownership of builds, chat messages and other content you create. By putting it on the server you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, back up and reproduce it so that we can run the server and promote it — for example in screenshots or trailers.

Do not upload or write anything you do not have the right to share, and do not post content that is unlawful or that breaches rule 4 above. We may remove content and are not obliged to keep a copy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The server and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost data, lost progress or lost virtual items. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. Where a change materially reduces your rights, we will give reasonable notice in game or on this site before it takes effect. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the operator's place of residence, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there — except that, if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in and may bring proceedings there.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
